I love that song too.

Unfortunately, not all hospitals are created equal. I did find the other patients to be most supportive and the staff less so, though at my pdoc the one time was very good.

I was seriously isolating and he brought up failure to thrive syndrome, he knew I was a psych major, and asked why I thought adults could go without social contact when babies can die without it. It was an eye opener. I still isolate sometimes, but no longer think it's an ok coping mechanism.
