here in New York which is in the USA the mental health community, it is believed that introject alters are a type of alternate personalities. they come with having DID and other mental disorders too. they are created by the person taking on their abusers personality...

example two abusers...one of my abusers would be emotionally abusive (swearing at me, name calling, slapping me and other forms of abuse) the other abuser would be very nice. then the nice one would get me to tell him what the mean one was doing to me, then the mean one would punish me / make me punish myself for telling the nice one. they would switch roles so that the mean one was nice and the nice one mean, back and forth back and forth...I couldnt handle this conflict of do something good and get punished for it so I dissociated and the introject was formed.

the introject alters job/purpose/reason for being was to swear at me, abuse me, ...basically this alter was the internal version of my abusers ...everything the abuser was/ the abusers type of moods, personality and mannerisms....

here in New York it is believed all alters are "helpers" because they do what ever the host can not handle... in my case I could not handle abusing myself, and other things these abusers made me do to them and myself... so the introject was formed to be the internal abuser and do what I could not.

can they be good/ nice/ positive / sweet little girls or boys type alters, the belief with the mental health community here where I live and work is no, introjects are a carbon copy so to speak of the abuser...

usually their jobs/purposes reasons for being is to be the emotional/physical and sometimes sexual abuser to the host just like the external abusers were.

talk with your treatment providers, they can go more into detail about what an introject is and if you have one how and what it is and how to treat it/fix things so this alter will no longer abuse and harm you.
