I also have anxiety, so I know how that goes. I've had to go thru some therapy and meds. I am a recovering alcoholic, and I find going to AA meetings helps me also. We don't just talk about getting drunk, we also talk about life in general--like living life on life's terms, taking things one day at a time, etc. But the people there also know that it's not just that simple, and they have to really work at it 'cuz they know it's not a matter of just "snapping out of it." It's a lot of work.
