I would start by googling "prescription assistance" and see what comes up. That at least might give you some leads on getting reduced cost or free meds. Also, google the name of your meds and that will give you the drug company that manufactures them. The drug company web sites usually have info. on getting free or discounted meds from them. Also, if you haven't asked your doc about where to get discounted meds, you might try that.
I would try to stick with the meds as long as you can because they really can help a lot.
The suggestion to check with the hospital was good. Any hospital should be able to direct you to some local resources, but if you have a psychiatric hospital nearby they would really know who to contact.
If you are looking for less expensive therapy, you can always get out the yellow pages and start calling therapists - just ask if they offer sliding scale payment and, if they do, maybe you'll find one you can afford. You might be able to manage it if you only go every other week or once a month. At least it's something.
