I just visited Shady and she wanted me to pass on a message for you all.
"Hi All,
We are doling okay. We spent a large part of the day on the women's unit and that helped tremendously. It felt good to be among supportive women who want to recover. We wrote about how hour illness makes us feel. Words we chose are: sad, down, alone, abandoned, fake, jealous, tenacious, accomplished and more. Fake because we put up a facade of happiness as expected. Jealous of others who have had it easier. Mentally, we are ready to fight again. Ready to grow and achieve even more. As daunting as our memories are, we understand now that they cannot hurt us anymore. They are things that we have already survived. We are strong. We are capable. Clarity says we are here for a reason. We have a purpose. We have worth. This time we will not leave until the doctor says we are ready. It is about time we put ourselves first and deal with the issues not symptoms. We will be back on PC when we get out. We want to encourage you all to take care of yourselves and do what you need to get, be or stay healthy.
Love and Hugs,
Shady
P.S. Our motto: I am enough. I have enough. I do enough."
Thank you for all your support
