What are try to do to help relieve some anxiety is to distract myself when I know a situation will provoke anxiety for me. Some of the things I do to distract myself is to : go on the computer, talk on the phone, watch TV, etc. whatever it is that will distract you until you feel the anxiety start to lessen. Also, breathing techniques help sometimes when I am anxious. Working with my therapist has helped me quite a bit. I hope you find this helpful.
