My family did a pretty bad job when I reached out for support. Essentially they didn't give me any support, made me feel worse for feeling sad all the time, and discouraged me from getting help. Some people don't know how to deal with it, but there are people out there that do. Professionals deal with this everyday. There are also your doctor that can give you medications that may help. Group therapy is more affordable than individual and gives you an opportunity to connect with people that are struggling too. When things were really bad for me, I found weekly one on one therapy the best. My therapist was understanding and helped me sort through a lot of feelings and find some better ways to cope at the time. I hope you can find help and support and keep posting.
