Crocheting is one of my favorite hobbies. I recently purchased a knook which is a way to use a crochet hook with a string attached. You knit with a crochet hook, going to give this a try, as knitting for me hasn't caught my interest that much so far. I have a friend who taught me her mother's pattern. A giant granny square and I've made all my adult children afghans pretty cheap and quickly at holiday time. Also great for a little baby afghan.
Anyone tried hooking rugs, quilting or other interesting handy work? Very good stress reliever and great way to focus on something pretty.
