Does your T ever show emotion? Mine did today, twice, and it was really powerful. First off, he said something I told him made him feel really upset. "In my head, I just threw my arms around you." (We don't touch.)

Secondly, I told him that he changed the whole world for me last week as I asked him for help in a crisis and got it for the first time ever in my life, and he said: "I know. It felt really good to be able to do that."

Maybe it's pathetic but it was hugely powerful, maybe just because he thought it was worth having these emotions about me. There was a lot of denial and minimisation in my childhood, so it's astounding to me, really.
