I'm not from Appalachian Ohio (more like the Allegheny Plateau), but I go to school there.

I pronounce Appalachian as "Ah-pah-LAY-shin," but the regional pronounciation is "Ah-pah-LATCH-uhn".

I stick to my city talk.
