With regards to your current condition, try a number of activities, some of which your psychiatrist may have already recommended. E.g. Exercise is an activity that helps the body return its normal levels of biochemicals made for proper brain functioning. Depending on the symptoms of your depression, if concentration a problem the games forum helps focus.
