Yes, that's helped me when I'm wishing to give up. Life is a "struggle" that's part of its point. We're theoretically supposed to be showing the angels what a wonderful creation we are; they don't have any experience with not having things wonderful and having free will at the same time. It's "harder" for us than for them and they're in awe of us as a creation of God's.
