In a way you expected her to be responsible and she showed she wasn't as mature as you or ready to tackle the consequences of her own actions. There is nothing you can do about that. I think leed wrote a good post about it. (Maybe open eyes?)

Don't blame yourself for the separation. You may have contributed but it wasn't all your fault. Remember a marriage consists of two people.
