great idea and life lesson unfortunately having DID works against me on this issue because part of my having dId is not remembering personal information such as names of people I meet when in a dissociated frame of mind. One time I was someplace and this one person stopped me and started to talk to me. The while time she was talking and asking me questions I was thinking who the heck is this woman. I went back to my mother and told her some strange woman just stopped me and was asking me all kinds of questions. she went with me to find the woman.. it turned out that I had seen that woman the day before at my physicians office. she was my physicians nurse but because she was not in the doctors office and I have DID I could not remember seeing her the day before or even place who she was.

my having DID any personal information like people I meet, names, places dates just don't stick in the conscious level of thinking in my head. Heck I have trouble remembering how old I am. One time I reported my bike stolen only to have a police officer bring my bike home from the local store from where I had left it. LOL
