hello, I'm a newbie here on the forum, and I'm excited to see that we help interpret dreams. I have never been able to find a real answer for my recurring dreams.

I have a city mapped in my dreams, one I visit almost every night. I dream of travelling there by many different modes of transportation. I'm often flying, in a boat, on a motorcycle, in a car, running, walking... but its always within this city of mine. It's almost always dusk, and raining. There are skyscrapers with hi tech elevators that move rapidly (like those is a futuristic plot, mimicking a tube at a drive-thru bank). There are few dilapidated areas of the city, but the places that are, stick out like a sore thumb, and often play a significant role in my dream. One example was a burned down bar between two businesses that I was upset to see was burned down because I was supposed to meet someone there, and now they may never arrive).

Another example, is I go to a payphone on the corner of the street, and I try to call my ex-husband, but I cannot remember his phone number. And the phone is broken and cannot receive incoming calls. I also tend to dream that my teeth break and crumble in my mouth when I try to speak; more specifically, when I try to defend myself.

IRL: my ex-husband is in prison, and will not be released for another 2 years, and has been incarcerated for 8.

Any thoughts? any other details requested before thoughts can be made?
