I would not worry about your sleep aid. Amitriptyline is a very old, well-tested, and safe medication. It helps you sleep, relaxes your muscles, and, in my case, does help a little bit to prevent migraines. All without any side effects. I probably will be on it for the rest of my life, even if I drop all the other meds. I would just try to find a lower dosage that helps, if I were you. But even that is not a rush.
