I had this great idea
In my town there is so many homeless people and disabled people who end up homeless because the wait for disability housing is 3 years. I had this plan to build a giant huge apartment complex that the rent is on a sliding scale. No single person on disability can afford the $500 a month rent here for a studio and still afford food, lights, water, meds, doctors.
So this charity apartment would be on a sliding scale. There would be food bank and soup kitchen on site. It would be run by many volunteers and employees. There would be sliding scale clinics on site for dentist, doctor, psychiatrist, pharmacy, etc. For people who have no transport. It would have services to help people find better positions in life if able, like a job or school. If not able, it woudl be a home that most people can never have.
I have this huge idea. No money. Why can't I be born a millionare??? Forget spending $27,000 on a wedding cake. That coudl build houses for people and feed them.
