I think you're right, Dubblemonkey. A big part of the trouble youngsters have is in believing what somebody who really doesn't know the real truth about our being is saying: that they aren't worthy of much in life--when in truth they're worthy of everything.
Or it's a money-thing with those who want to keep vulnerable people on their
dependency.
When we escape parental lack of knowledge or the mis-directed efforts of those
who ought to know better, people (who deserve to be loved and cared for) are
led down a primrose path that can damage their psyche like nothing else can.
They get involved in things that make conditions worse. I've always believed
that changes in environment, relationships, and financial status would pull most of
us out of any real difficulty that we are exposed to. That and our spiritual life.
Well, you tell the truth; that's for sure.
