Well, I don't like the word "crazy" anyway. As it so happens, I am certifiable--with Bipolar Disorder. Off hand, 188 is somewhat on the high side, but the main thing to look at is what issues the "test" has flagged. What does it say are big areas of concern?
I suggest to many people that they take their test results and do some consultation with a professional. I'm saying a therapist or counselor. (The first session the therapist gets to ask all the questions. It's referred to as an "intake interview.") People certainly don't have to be crazy to see a therapist! I wish I had been able to get treatment much earlier in my life.
I don't know your relatives, but sometimes it is a good idea to listen to the people around us who care. Even if they can be too blunt! Okay? If you do have issues that need to be treated, then I say, "Go for it!"
