My Favorite Books:
Standing in the Shadows by Philip Bromberg
Awakening the Dreamer by Philip Bromberg
In the Shadow of the Tsunami by Philip Bromberg

Awakenings by Oliver Sachs
(I had to skip over the technical parts because it was difficult to read, but I liked the book a lot better than the movie. This was just awesome!)

The Man Who Mistook his Wife for a Hat by Oliver Sachs
(This guy is brilliant

Attachment is Psychotherapy by David J. Wallin
(I read this awhile ago and I think it was good but it wasn't as good as Bromberg's books, imo)

**About behavior, but not about the therapeutic relationship
Social Intelligence by Daniel Goleman

Dealing with People You Can't Stand by Dr. Rick Brinkman and Dr. Rick Kirschner
*(This book includes good information on how to deal with difficult relationships. It breaks people down into personalities like the Tank, the Sniper, but it helps people by talking about the psychology of these people so they can be better understood)

Movies/T.V. Shows
In Treatment on HBO
(I used to watch this and thought it was interesting enough. The therapist was unethical, though.)

I haven't watched any movies or T.V. shows about therapy that I remember. I'll have to watch Ordinary People, I haven't seen it.
