You don't need to tell them anything about current income unless/until they ask about that part and when they do, they will let you know what to include as income; they are probably still working on determining if you are disabled according to their definitions, that is the first hurdle one has to pass. If you don't pass their disabled test, they don't care about your income eligibility.
