Anger can be associated to lots of mental disorders. Personality disorders, bipolar, PTSD, depression. If it's interfering with your functioning find a good Doc and look for a diagnosis. Is it anger and/or agitation, irritability? You need to pinpoint that so you can get a good diagnosis. Anti-psychotic medication is used for constant, severe agitation and may help. I've found if you can't pinpoint it a PDOC is going to have lots of problems diagnosing it correctly. (Took me years to figure out what exactly was going on inside of me because it buried me and controlled me and I had no idea what the exact problem was.) And most PDOCs will give you a diagnosis during the first session w/o digging into your life and looking at the dynamics in your life (which is poor analysis, imo). Studies show that a BP diagnosis takes on average 8 yrs to diagnose correctly. (BP overlaps with many other disorders including schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, OCD, unipolar depression, etc.)
