Since half of the marriages result in divorce (I do not know the figure for cohabitation relationships without marriage and I am not sure if the stats are kept), you always need to assess your potential parenting partner from the standpoint of her post-divorce cooperativeness in regards to child-rearing. You are too young to make that assessment well, I think.
