Hi. I hope you're feeling better. I understand what you mean about having to fake happiness and force a smile etc. i do is all the time. I even have to force myself to talk sometimes as I just don't want to nor feel the need. As for being offended over small things, story of my life. Everyday i am offended and get so upset over little things. If I wave at someone and they don't wave back a certain way I assume they hate me and I shouldn't approach people. If I offer someone a lift home and they refuse i take it so personally.
