I'm just coming of Abilify and Effexor because they're doing nothing for me and I'm going up to 600 mg of Lithium today. Anti-depressants either do nothing or make me manic and the couple of mood stabilizers I've tried (Lamictal and Tegretol) do nothing for me. So this is the next step. It's very interesting to read that ADs can make bipolar depression worse because they are mostly what I've tried, and I've been really bad before (especially lately on Effexor). If Lithium doesn't work, I try Seroquel. But I'm hoping it works and I don't have to worry about that.
