Don't they understand I was there totally alone, no one came to see me at anytime during that week. Not my kids, my parents, siblings, "friends" but I guess it really is no big deal.....what difference at this point does it make.

It makes every bit of difference when you are recouperating from surgery and then on top of that, a heart attack!!! You need to know you matter to SOMEONE, for pity's sake!! Where was your family? Did they at least keep in touch over the phone?

My husband had a small heart attach about 6-7 weeks ago. He had the angioplasty and two stents put in. It's the psychological damage that's been so hard for him to cope with! In the cariac unit or your heart doctor, have they suggested you go to a heart rehab program? You really need to find one in your area. The most important part of it, for my husband, at least, is the counciling part of it. There's a natural depression that sets in after a heart attack. You need help with that!

Keep talking to us, Hon. If no one else is there for you, we sure are!!!

PLEASE take care of you!!
