I am better with children before they can talk. The talking ones are (to me) so boring. There is nothing worse to me than listening to an 8 yr old try to tell a story.
I am very very happy there are people (parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts(not me), family friends, teachers etc) who are willing to endure the boredom in order to train the little things how to be more interesting. Just not me. I will take your babies, toddlers and your teen agers but not usually the 5-12 yr olds.
