popcorn itself is ok, it is just the unpopped kernals and the lashings of sugary buttery coatings that are not. so the simple answer is make your own, disguard unpopped kernals and coat the rest with a little marmite/vegimite or a sprinkling of salt but not too much as salt is not good in large quantities either!
if we avoid everything that is said to be bad for us we would all be dead, because even the air we breathe is full of pollutants!
