ACK! I'm so glad I don't have a wife. LOL.

Even when I was married to my husband, he said that I wasn't the typical nagging wife. He came to appreciate - after our divorce - how I was so easy-going, didn't ask much of him and didn't nag.

I can understand the W being disappointed but ultimately would hope for understanding...I'm wondering if you're both trying to get the other to see it from each person's perspective.
