Hammy's thread addressed something I have had on my mind for a few days now. I take lamictal, wellbutrin, zoloft, and klonopin. I want off of the Zoloft, because for the past few weeks something is making me very sleepy all of the time, pdoc says it is just work stress, but I don't work on the weekends! I never last long on any ad and the lamictal is supposed to control mood swings anyway.
Here's my plan before consulting pdoc. I am going to cut back to every other day and see how that goes. Then I will hopefully gain more stamina, meaning that I can exercise more, meaning that I will take care of the depression naturally-then off completely!
Does it sound completely crazy to avoid the pdoc with this decision? I know it may not be the meds that are zapping me, but everything else checks out. My iron levels are normal. The only time I use klonopin during the day is when I am at work. My thyroid levels are normal. My sister says my age could have something to do with it, but I would think that I would have a gradual change, not one so extreme!
I'd like to be completely drug-free, but I could really feel the change with the lamictal when I finally got on a high enough dose.
In case you are wondering about the wellbutrin, I have always found that it helps to keep my appetite in check.
