I agree with Sam. And sometimes when we're depressed/upset, people get upset with us because they just plain don't understand and they think we're "putting it on." They think we're acting like that to get attention!

Of course that couldn't be further from the truth!
We really ARE upset and depressed! The things that happened to us cause trauma --- we can't help what we "are." We need some semblance of support and we don't get it.
Sweetie, what you need is therapy. If there is any way for you to get it, please go.
