I'm a student, too (but an older one). In my university, when we are under stress like you're describing, we can go to the counseling center at any time and let people know we're in trouble. We can also speak to *any* professor or instructor, residence advisor or any other staff member, and they have a protocol to follow to get us into supportive services. Indeed, even as a student worker who supervises other students, I have a "chain of command" to follow if I observe a student in my "care" having problems. We are very devoted to making sure every student gets the best possible chances to succeed.
If a student doesn't get results enough to feel safe, they can walk right into the deans' or provost's offices and yell for help. Every single dean and the provost work with open doors all day, every day except when in private meetings for this very reason.
Don't suffer alone. Talk to people. Keep talking to them until you get the help you need. Okay, so you aren't going to walk away with A's this semester. One semester of C's will not ruin your life. But the other stuff can really set you back. So please, keep reaching out.
