I loved playing the New World Symphony and one of my favorite pieces, although I did not have a good part, is Procession of Nobles.
I remember the Holst and Vaughn Williams the most. A rousing rendition of Folk Song Suite or First Suite in E flat is always welcome.
Nothing says party like wind ensemble music.
