"Quarantine," I think, is what some antivirus software calls one of the measures it takes against suspicious files. When one of the programs that I use finds a threat, it may offer me a choice of deleting the file, quarantining it, or ignoring it -- as if I knew! It doesn't usually tell me much about where the file came from or exactly what the threat is.

I don't know who'd be able to tell you more, but they'd probably need detailed information on the suspicious items and on the program(s) that found them suspicious.
I think a lot of the people who know most about this stuff, work for antivirus companies like McAfee and don't like to give away information.
