Maven, I too would like to have a few chickens...for eggs. I doubt I can do that, though, since I live within town limits in a neighborhood. There is also a website I looked at recently which describes the characteristics of each breed of chicken, telling which are tamer, can be handled, etc., as opposed to mean ones
