I'm very sorry to hear about your experience with Seroquel. I hope that more people will do research about this drug before going on it and if they do I hope they read posts like yours. I am amazed and disgusted that any doctor would put a patient on Seroquel for asleep unless the patient is psychotic. Seroquel is an anti-psychotic and IMO should never be prescribed off label due to how dangerous the long-term side effects are. I have trouble sleeping some nights and I'll try benedryl before I'd ever touch that poison. I'm not being funny but I swear that a friend of mine was prescribed it off label for depression and he had breast enlargement and he started to get a twitch in his cheek. I forget what he said that was (maybe someone here knows) but that was a side effect and he swears that the doctor never informed him and he said neither did the pharmacist (whom i believe knows best) . Anyone reading this that's thinking of taking Seroquel PLEASE get a physical and ask questions and work with your doc and etc before getting on these harmful drugs. Theres stories of children as young as 6 and elderly old as 90 who are on anti-psychotics and it saddens me deeply. Lord only knows how many children lets say in foster care or how many elderly die lets say in nursing homes die every year because of off label use...especially in nursing homes (i bet its high:
to the poster here i hope you get well and if i could sue the doctor our the drug maker to help pay your medical costs for you than i would. you don't deserve this at all. dang i am livid at big pharm and some docs who do this to innocent people
