I'm so sorry that this happened. I have been there and if you need to talk to someone, know that I'm here. I will pm you too in a moment but thought I'd post here to show my support

I wound up in the hospital years ago for something that I still regret. I didn't lose my children although it was deemed an attempt on my life, but like you I didn't have any intention of dying at the time. it was just severe enough that any arguments against that were ignored. I stayed 10 days in the mental hospital. I feel for you and know what a scary situation it is to face the repercussions of such behavior.
