I hear you. I'm up now (4:30 a.m.) but mostly it is because of physical/medical problems not anxiety but, being up, the anxiety has an opportunity to worm its way into my thoughts, it being quiet and dark.
I try to read a bit before bed so I have something else to think about as I'm falling asleep. That can help some with the anxiety for me.
If you get up, do something creative or that you enjoy. I always get a little snack, comfort food like toast or yogurt, cereal or fruit, etc. I check the temperature, make sure its comfy and then I go back to bed after about an hour and try again to sleep. I'm retired so don't have to get up on a rigid schedule, sleep in an extra couple hours if I've had to get up.
