I did it! I did it! I emerge victorious!! YEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAA!!! HALLELUYA!!! WHOOOPEEEEE!!! RAZZAMATAZ AND ALL THAT JAZZ!!! HIP, HIP, HOORAAAAYYYYYYYY!!! YEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

I saw my baby girl this afternoon!! I got to hold her in my arms and squeeze the life out of her and she squeezed right back!! I gave her several rides on my scooter while she was laughing and hanging on to me!!! YEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

I sorta pulled a sneaky to do it, but I DID IT!!

As I've said before, my youngest is supposed to do the tile work in my kitchen and it's finally coming down to the wire. We needed his help in ordering the stuff and I wanted a fancy backsplash so we went to the tile place where he does business. Today was his day off and he and his wife and kids had been doing some running around. My son called his dad when they were finished and asked him to meet him at the tile store. I took a chance that my DIL and grandkids would be with him so I tagged along. (hehehehohohohehehe) All the while getting to the tile store I fumed thinking my son had taken her home. (I over estimated her intelligence. hehe!) But when we got there, THEY were already there. As I got out of the car, I heard my granddaughter call me. When I looked over, my DIL (whom I've renamed The Wiched ***** of the West) rolled up the window real quick so I couldn't hear her. HA! Too late! As I drove my scooter to the front door of the place, I drove by the truck and knocked on the tinted window that I couldn't see through, but I knew the babies were there. HAHAHA!! HEHEHE!!

I went in and took care of business but quietly mentioned to my son that what was taking place outside was incredibly cruel; cruel to me, but much more so to the babies. We all went outside and my son and husband walked towards the truck while dummy me stayed as far away as possible. It didn't take me long to jump into action, though! If MY husband and MY son were walking together, why in the heck couldn't MOTHER ride next to them? My son opened the passanger's door and said something harsh to The Wicked ***** and then opened the back door and let MY GRANDBABIES OUT!!! My granddaughter practically launched herself out of the seat at me and latched on to my kneck. I thought I was gonna suffocate... but what a way to go!! My grandson isn't quite as effusive with me as he is with Poppa Jerry but I got some pretty sweet hugs and kisses topped off with "sweet drippin's" that I had to wipe off when he wasn't watching. Baby slobber has never tasted so sweet before!! hehehe

Every time we rode by the truck, my son told my granddaughter that they had to go and run more errands. My granddaughter, being 4 1/2 would say "One more ride, Daddy!" My son never, never lets himself get pushed that way... except today! LOL Every time Autumn said "one more ride, Daddy" he'd say "Ok, but just one more." HA! I think we took six extra rides around the parking lot while the salesmen came out and watched an old lady and two little kids laughing and screeming and running around in a three wheeled scooter. LMAO I even got my grandson to wave "Hi" to our salesman! hehehe He waves like the girls that ride on parade floats! hehehe He's so DANG cute!!!

This grandma is reveling in the short time of pure joy she had this afternoon!!
