my son tried to pit me, his therapist, the DHS caseworker, and the DHS social worker that was supervising visitation all against each other. what we ended up doing was telling my child - I can't do anything about that right now I have to talk to Sandy, Tracy, Joanne, Cindy, and then we will all decide what to do about this together. And then we followed through with talking together to discuss what he was saying By saying this he slowly learned he could not manipulate all of us against each other. And then he was confronted with his behavior during family therapy and or individual therapy so that he knew consequenses followed the lies he told just as fast as we discussed them.
