For 4 weeks i have been taking Effexor XR and its been very effective, i just went to pick my prescription up and have noticed that its doesnt say 'venlafaxine xl,' (uk name for effexor xr) it just says Venlafaxine.

So does this mean it isnt extended release?

and if so, is it going to be different taking it?
