Just maybe 5 years ago I had no psychosis but again was trying everything else for sleep so I turned to seroquel. Then found out I had diabetes. I'm disappointed by my family doctor who just ptescribed it without doing a family history or telling me it can cause all these side effects. Then my psychiatrist seemingly not knowing I have diabetes which I told him about right from the start, will keep saying that I won't get diabetes overnight, but I've just reminded him that I HAVE diabetes and he says nothing. I feel dependent on the seroquel now though. At 25mg it gives me adrunk drowsy ffeeling before I pass out. Thanks for your empathy clash. And greylove thanks for realizing its not about stuffing my face

Sounds like time for some research and a second, even third opinion; and don't allow anyone to Rx you who doesn't take the time to get a good history, respect your concerns, or dismiss them---you are the one who has to live with the results....hang in there.
