Hugs to you. My daughters both have gay best friends and I couldn't love them more. I agree with Secretum - find a friend who you are pretty sure is supportive before you come out to your parents. I'll share what I've learned from them. One had super supportive parents who knew way before he came to grips and told them, and one had a really rough time with his parents. He found ready acceptance here.

If your fears are realized and your parents to react as you wish, it might help to keep in mind how long it's taken you to come to terms with your sexuality. With time, they are at least somewhat likely to come around.

I'd also encourage you to go out and watch some of the videos on the It Gets Better Project site or take the book that Dan Savage and his partner Terry (who started that campaign and wrote a book about it) wrote out of your library.

Good luck - you've got a double dose of challenge, so i hope you find comfort and some good information on this site.
