As part of my commitment to cut out everything stressful in my life until I recover, I've come up with a rule that I'll keep away from any possible triggers online. I'm looking for some advice on that; I'm sure those of you who use parental controls or blacklist/firewall software can help Also, I need some new and positive websites to visit, since my regulars are pretty much out.

So these are my triggers (some of them are kinda silly, but the human mind doth work in mysterious ways):

1-any stories of abuse against women (news reporting on rape, or sexist opinion pieces for eg.) (been abused myself)
2-health scares (despite my best efforts, I'm still a hypochondriac)
3-flaming/trolling/people being mean for the sake of being mean (been bullied a lot as a kid/teen, also cyberbullied)

I've come up with a 'blacklist' of sorts - no more Facebook, Twitter or other social sites with unmoderated content, no more news websites since there'll probably be something to hook my #1 and #2 there, and no more 9gag or other websites with crude humor. Even on this forum I've seen one or two 'flame' posts that triggered my #3, but I moved on and I still think it's one of the safest places I've visited.

The thing is though, with banning all the websites above, I've hardly got any other places to go to online - and I spend my days indoors, in front of my computer, at least until I recover from my latest episode. Could anyone recommend me some positive and fun websites to visit? Also, any tips on how to avoid the temptation of going back on Facebook for eg. would be grand.

Thanks for reading
