This past week, we went on vacation with my sister and her husband. First night there, got a phone call in the middle of the night that our son had taken a shotgun, and was going to end his life. He was taken to the physch ward of our local hospital. Son and his wife are having ongoing problems, a big mess, four little ones, her mother living with them with alzheimers, deeply in debt, etc. So, we decided to stay the next couple of days where we were as my brother in law could fly me home in two hours in his private plane, We thought that son needed professional help and would get it o.k. where he was. Brother in law and my sister are medical professionals, and they thought this was a good plan. I also knew that son and his wife needed time without interference. We are trying to stay in the middle and help with the kids. It is so hard!!!
