I understand the concern and probably anger, Moose.
My daughter had her wallet/purse stolen at school. Eighty dollars, her bank card, and her I-phone. We put a tracer on the phone, but it was never used. We cancelled the card right away, but it was not used either. Our thoughts are that the phone was stolen to sell and the money was just a bonus.
I am glad that your daughter had the money returned, at least.
