I haven't found a wading pool yet. Found a pup under the bed when mom had gone outside. Auntie is watching closely as is uncle who pertends he doesn't care. They are all doing very well with the entire process. We have been watching them by the hours. Some have bright red feet and ears and some have black on the pads of feet and a little dark on ears. Some have the lab nose and muzzle that looks like it could hold onto anything and others are more dainty. Mom is still eating a lot but seems she ate yesterday to make up for a week of poorish eating. She went through a pound of liver and 2 pounds of rice in 24 hours. Today I put a pound of ground lamb in with two pounds of rice. I cool it with frozen veggies if she is real hungry.

Dad dog went to a new home yesterday with a nine year old who is strong and heavy enough to not let the dog drag him. My daughter who wanted dad dog so much basically let him love her and sleep with her and spoil him and then left him. He destroyed her room the other day including a $400 digital camera of mine she had left in there. We have left the mess so if/when she returns she can see what happened to her clothes etc. He is fixed now and is a great dog for anyone willing to commit love and time. He needs a human to snuggle with. He thinks he is a lap dog. Speaking of which my three little lap dogs are now looking at the food dishes like:"wait a minute, we can't eat that!" So it's small dishes again. They are all on me as I type and my college daughter is up sleeping in my bed, half watching the babies and mom.

One of the little guys, a young neutered male poodle and shizu cross loves his noisey toys. I have birds that sing, ducks the quack, toys that speak. What makes me laugh is when the puppies squeak he gives them that same head turn and hmm, should I shake it to see where the sound comes from?

They are bringing me a lot of joy. I don't know what will happen as I have to find good homes for the babies. My heart will probably break 7 times over. How can I KNOW that they have good homes?
