In subsidized housing the heat and gas are PAID for you, from what I understand! I shouldn't think that that would make a difference would it?? Maybe it does, but I don't see how. If the government is PAYING for the heat and lights, what do they even have to know that you're in the apartments???

I don't understand all this. Talk to DHS again and see what they say. You MIGHT not have to pay all that IF YOU HAVEN'T GOT IT!!! Some people just plain don't have it! I dont see how they can throw people out into the streets because they don't have money! Talk to them again and see what happens. Maybe it's a lost cause. I don't know. Are there any shelters around you? That's better than nothing I guess. I know they're pretty bad, but it's better than being on the streets, where you'll get mugged, or worse!
