Yes, I am on Lamictal for Bipolar II and also on Abilify which is an atypical-antipsychotic. They work for this illness.

I also am on other seizure meds like Neurontin and others and they work!

Do some more research on which meds are used for bipolar and you will see there are vast amounts of meds which can be used for bipolar and there will be many others to try if this on doesn't work for you. We are lucky to have so many to pull from!!!!
