We need to be confident in social situations and one way to do so is to go out more often. Although to be honest, it's easy for us to avoid going to bars and clubs. So where's a good place to start which doesn't overwhelm? The local shop? But won't we intrude on the shopkeeper's work? Oh look I seem to be rambling on... is that the reason why I don't have friends?

Hmmm I don't do crowds of people and don't really like going out on my own .
However, I did join a computer course at my local mental health centre , to refresh on my computers and to help on the social side of things. They do a drop-in at the centre , but don't feel brave enough to go yet. I did go once and got put off, all what I did was sat in a corner on my own . Hmmm
